Resident Evil or REmake came out on the GameCube in 2002, it was a HD remaster of the original Resident Evil 1 on the PlayStation 1. Essentially it is the same game as the original with a few changes, some mechanical changes and some story additions.

You control either Jill or Chris as part of S.T.A.R.S Alpha Team, going to investigate a disturbance in the Arklay Mountains at Spencer Mansion. Bravo Team had originally gone to investigate but their helicopter crashed, Enrico the captain of Bravo ordered his surviving team members to investigate the surrounding area and came across Spencer Mansion, but lost contact with Alpha Team.

Albert Wesker, Barry Burton, Brad Vickers, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Joseph Forest arrive to find Bravo teams helicopter crashed and discover the horrors that await them!

Version: Any (except modded versions)
Difficulty: Like climbing a mountain, fulfilling, but takes a lot of work. (Normal) - The difficulties below are Easy and Very Easy. I have attached the difficulty screen to highlight the options, it is the top option you need.
Time? 5 hours
Progress: Complete the game as fast as you can. If you cannot, bosses and puzzles can be used as progress markers.
Tiebreakers: Deaths

No New Game+ runs, having the Samurai Edge or the Infinity Launcher is babies first Resident Evil.

Also just to add that the character choice was left up to chance @Kythias spun a wheel to keep it fair and I watched to make sure there was not any riggery!

I think for some of us, we may have called this game Real Estate Agent Simulator because of the amount of time we spent just looking around a house with no aim or particular progress to be seen. "This room is really cozy, with a distinct and unique aroma... Don't mind the corpses..."

Still, it was finally Dec's chance to shine - just like a broken clock's abilities to tell time, with enough games on the Wheel, eventually Dec has to be the best at one of them.
