Infinity: Marathon forever

You've been one busy security officer. You repulsed the Pfhor attack on the colony ship Marathon, uncovered and reawakened the fabled 11th clan of the S'pht and their ancient AI Thoth, rescued the stranded human survivors of Tau Ceti and halted the Pfhor advance on Earth...

In Marathon Infinity, you find yourself caught in a web of ever-shifting allegiances. Durandal, Tycho, the Pfhor; each is a power, with its own agenda and its own uses for you. There are loose ends that need to be tied in the Lh'owon system, and you've got the reputation for getting things done.

You can't be sure who the enemy is anymore. The only thing you can be sure of is a swift and bloody end if you let your guard down...

Pick up the free community edition of Infinity at https://alephone.lhowon.org/, and save the lua script attached to this message. Look over all the settings before you start. Be sure the difficulty is on Total Carnage. Then find the setting for Solo Script and turn that on, pointing it to the attachment you downloaded.

Now, see this red thing. That's a pattern buffer. You can save your progress at these stations. For this competition each pattern buffer may only be used once. That's what the script is for. After saving that panel will be disabled.

Winner will be who completes the highest level in 5 hours and fewest deaths, then time of level completion. In terms of progress, there are optional secret levels and shortcuts but I doubt they'll be in play as most are well hidden or difficult to get to. In the remarkable event that someone does take a secret path, progress is determined by which level you end at, not the number of levels you passed through. The map at the Marathon Spoiler Guide (http://marathon.bungie.org/spoiler/general.shtml) will be the source of truth.
