Intro

@Helmac_

Medal of Honor was developed by DreamWorks Interactive and released for the PS1 on October 31st 1999.

Interesting fact - the game concept and story was created by Steven Spielberg. Spielberg's inspiration for the series emerged while directing and producing the World War II film Saving Private Ryan to create a game that can concurrently be an educational and entertaining experience.

The game focuses on the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), an American espionage organisation during World War II. You play Lieutenant James (Jimmy) Steven Patterson, a graduate of West Point and an elite Special Forces agent. You have been sent to execute covert operations, search and rescue missions and commando raids – from stealing a set of documents to scuffing a German U-Boat to destroying an entire missile factory. Your missions will take you across Europe, behind enemy lines and almost always alone you are required to complete your missions.

There are 7 missions to complete and you have 5 hours. Placements will be - Completed Missions > Time > Deaths – good luck and may the ground always rise up to meet you!

Note – as this is me & you all know how totally encyclopaedic my knowledge of such things are, any questions regarding versions and options will be collaboratively agreed with the council – but no cheats, that much I can confirm!

@Lovenfloofen

In this week's surprisingly calm struggle, Cup decided that they would much rather be playing something like Splinter Cell, and had a little trouble understanding how ladders work, despite those frustrations entered a respectable post-stealth-mission time!

Markman's path to Godhood was slightly halted as the Wehrmacht put the Schrek in panzerschrek, and what looked like an easy clear of the game became a rather thrilling session of "catch the rocket" (which is not a missile). Despite all of that it wasn't enough to stop him zooming out of the gates and setting a high bar for first place

Tater84 demonstrated a particular aptitude for the stealth missions by opting to ignore the stealth completely, when contacted for interview he had this to say:

"Well they gave me a gun"

Despite his impressive start and soaring through the stealth levels his inability to look slightly to his right on one of the levels had him perform an impressive across-the-map backtrack

Lovenfloofen employed an ancient technique of 'Just soddin' book it mate', allowing him to make plenty of ground in the early levels, which served him well as he began to die again and again to projectile based weapon riggery, dreams of finishing the game vanishing before his eyes, shortly before those eyes were blown into separate ends of the tunnel.

Peaceful froggy Fusha opted to complete Medal Of Honor Pacifist% by deciding to make love and not war, giving this round a miss

Those to come, we have the Octobot whose 8 arms are proving to be a tactical advantage in the realm of rooty-tooty-point'n'shooty, boasting an impressive and potentially first place time, while Deccy and Q have both opted to wait until after this update, to avoid ridicule.
