Street Fighter II: World Warrior Rules and Setup
This game should need no introduction, which is handy because I haven't got time to write one.
We are playing the arcade version of World Warrior. This is the original iteration of Street Fighter II.
This version doesn't have mirror matches, and doesn't let you unlock the bosses
Setup: If you have Capcom Arcade Stadium, or Street Fighter Collection or some other modern release of this game, that's fine as long as it's the original arcade version
Old console ports (SNES, Genesis etc) are not eligible as these run slightly differently
You can also emulate the original arcade by going to https://mamedev.org/ and downloading MAME
Download the file attached to this post and put it in the roms folder after installing MAME
This should be all you need to get it working.
Rules Normal difficulty (you shouldn't need to change anything, but if you press Tab then go into Dip Switches, it should say difficulty 3 (normal) )
Aim to complete the game with every character (8 total)
Unlimited credits
Progress > Time > Deaths
You are allowed to pause the timer if you want to watch a character's ending, but otherwise timer should remain on in-between matches
If you paused it to watch an ending, resume it when you are on character select screen of your next run
Moves There are 6 buttons, 3 punches and 3 kicks. Each punch or kick has 3 levels, light medium or strong. Light is faster but weak, strong is slower but... strong
To throw, you push direction into or away from opponent at close range and press either medium or strong punch or kick (depending on the character)
To block, hold back or to crouch block hold down back.
Standing block will block standing attacks and air attacks but is vulnerable to crouch attacks
Crouching block will block standing and crouching attacks but is vulnerable to air attacks
