Intro

This isn't your run-of-the-mill chubby boy jumping on turtle’s platformer. EWJ has plenty of run and gun in there, as well as a daring underwater maze, a bungee jump with a lump of snot and a casual walk with a your cheeky doggo friend (who might be suffering with some monster-ism). Jim also has some of the best villain designs ever put to a cartridge, such as Psycrow, Professor Monkey-for-a-head and the final boss, The Evil Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt. Admittedly there's also a cat and a goldfish, but they can't all be winners. Just a shame the creator is a complete dick, or this entry would be entirely uncontroversial.

Rules

What are the rules?

Progress: Level Completion. No shiny rocks or spaceships in this one, so race to the finish!
Tiebreaker: Time > Deaths
Version: Mega Drive/Genesis (NTSC not PAL). The game was built for the MD before being converted to the SNES and while the games are nearly identical, the SNES suffers by actually needing to load levels, the loss of a whole level (Intestinal Distress) and, due to a loss of resolution compared to the MD, the screen was stretched and thus you have less time to react in certain levels. There's also a Mega CD version but for the sake of simplicity, stick with the Mega Drive.
Difficulty: Whatever the default difficulty is.

Groovy!

Outro

@Kythias

I apparently totally forgot about the end of Week 4 update, and this is a day late. I have no excuses, will take full responsibility and punish Deccy accordingly.

That being said, I think SUCK lived up to the hype, lots of people thought Jim was some form of reprieve on a sub-wheel otherwise filled with dross and dregs. It turned out that Jim was merely luring you into a false sense of security, prime for the tilting.

The Marcman Protocol is clearly now running at full efficiency, taking first place, with Octo just narrowly behind. The field opens up a bit then for Fusha in 3rd and Q in 4th, both with completes in the 3 and 4 hour ranges respectively. Tater also put in a stellar performance, raising one bar to 5th (let's not talk about the other bar's participation point for this round). Honourable mentions and participation points for Kylo and Stormy for playing the game! And finally welcome to @JaseInvader - your submission has now been correctly added to the table that Tater provided yesterday.

League table can be found general.

Octobot yet to take a first place in any game, but clinging to the top of the table just narrowly behind Marcman, still lots of big names hovering in that mid-twenties to thirties score range, and with many more games yet to come anything could happen! The only person caught between two bars this week is Q, while Tater retains his upper-barship.
