Rules

Genre: Racing
Platform: Super Nintendo (SNES)
Version: NTSC (US)

The rules: Lets-a go fast!

We all know Mario Kart. The debut on the Super Nintendo doesn’t have any of the bells and whistles we know and love, like blue shells or bullet bills, but it does have donkey Kong Jr!

The winner for this round is the first to get Gold on all cups, this is 50cc, 100cc and all 150cc cups. There are 12 cups total, so that’s three sets of four.

150cc unlocks after Golding 100cc, so don't panic if you don't see it.
TL;DR: Amount of gold cups won > Time

@Kythias

I think I speak for everyone when I say, dear lord. Mario Kart has never been so terrible.

Despite the abominable game, some people managed to prevail over the cheating scumbag CPU racers - however, the one and only Quantum was the only participant to manage all 11 Gold Cups. Honourable mention for Tater, again putting in a high-bar showing hitting 3rd place for the week with 10 Gold Cups! 6 Gold Cups also appeared to be a bit of a bottleneck with Fusha, myself, Kylo and Ashnacht all hitting that Special Cup and witnessing cheating on full display.

The league table is starting to spread out, with a ledge starting to form behind the top 5. Marcman stays on top, Q is climbing rapidly as the second of the only two people to achieve two 1st place finishes in the season so far. Big Captain rounds out the group above the bars with one submission less - exciting potential for the forgotten round to jump right back up into the upper ranges of the scores. Hex, Stephen's Rocket and Kylo have been caught between two bars for this week.
