The rules: WAR GAMES…AGAIN
It’s time for a DEATHMATCH! Bogart the single player campaign; Deathmatch puts you in a randomised map and gives you a rank based on your W/L record. Winning increases your rank and thus your opponents get stronger too. Losing or quitting lowers it, albeit never lower than your starting rank.
You fight on Create a fresh team and configure names, language, etc. Choose a special weapon (your team will always start with this, can be changed at any time).
You can attempt 'Basic Training' under the Training menu up until you get the Gold medal. Then timer starts when you hit 'Start' on your first Deathmatch with that team.
You could also freely go back and practise the various training modes, custom games, or even campaign if you wish, but timer has to keep rolling.

Another huge round of submissions with 16 people testing their wargames on the miniature scale of worms (to be fair, there are also cows that are the same size - are they tiny cows or are these cow sized worms?). I think the biggest progress to note is that unlike last week, the deaths of worms can't be counted in their absolute hundreds upon hundreds like all the poor lemmings that got nuked. RIP.
Our top three finishers, including a stellar debut Wheel entry in 1st place are:
1st - @h3oCharles - Elite defeated in 04:45:58
2nd - @HexTree - Superstar defeated in 04:45:17
3rd - @Fusha - Superstar defeated in 04:57:52
Full results are available at https://www.wheelofstruggle.com/season5/worms-armageddon, and courtesy of Fusha.
The gap between the bars widens yet again, and there has been a huge shakeup at the top of the table - big drops for Marcman (1st -> 3rd), Garlips (2nd -> 6th) and BlinkHazard (5th -> 10th) who also now finds himself in that dreaded wasteland between two bars.
Octobot has claimed 1st place this week, after a last minute effort by Fusha to rally my performance in Worms didn't pay off leaving him in 2nd place by one mere point.
Side note: For fans of unofficial scoring rubrics, if you pop over to the current league table and enable Classic Score and turn off participation points, we would have a three way tie for first between Stephen's Rocket, Garlips and h3oCharles! Marcman would be below both the bars! What a world that would be.
